Eleanor (Dana Vespoli) has recently been in an accident and is paralyzed from the neck down. She is bedridden and doted on by her loving, obedient stepdaughter Maggie (Kylie Rocket), who offers to do anything to make Eleanor happy. That's when Eleanor, who longs for sex, becomes inspired. Eleanor invites over Travis (Tommy Pistol), a man she had casually dated before the accident, and offers up Maggie for him to have sex with while Eleanor puppeteers everything.
An aspiring actress, Bethany (Alison Rey), goes to an audition for a commercial made by Chris Dillon, an actual movie director. Bethany is nervous, realizing that if she can impress Chris, this could finally be her big break, and she'll do anything to make a lasting impression in Taking It Lying Down.
